Den omgir oss til daglig og er samtidig den eldste formen for lyrikk vi kjenner til. I det gamle Hellas ble diktene fremsagt til lyrespill.<\/p>\n<p>Til tross for dette har sanglyrikken v\u00e6rt mindre utforsket enn skriftlyrikken, og det har skortet p\u00e5 teoretiske og metodiske perspektiver. Det s\u00f8ker denne boka \u00e5 r\u00e5de bot p\u00e5. Her diskuteres f\u00f8rst de grunnleggende likheter og forskjeller mellom skrift- og sanglyrikk, mellom \u00f8ye- og \u00f8rekunst. Videre dr\u00f8ftes metodiske innfallsvinkler til studiet av sanglyrikk, med tanke p\u00e5 samspillet mellom ord og musikk. Deretter gj\u00f8r boka rede for en rekke kjente sanglyriske sjangrer: ballader, skillingsviser, salmer, joik, viser, blues, rock, indie-folk og rap.<\/p>\n<p>Boka er den f\u00f8rste i sitt slag i Norge. Den er s\u00e6rlig rettet mot forskere og studenter i h\u00f8yere utdanning, og l\u00e6rere som vil arbeide med sanglyrikk i skoleverket.
