Men da moderne medier tok over formidlingen av sanger, ble skillingstrykkene stuet vekk i bibliotekenes og museenes m\u00f8rke kjellere.<\/p>\n<p>Denne boka handler om hvordan skillingsvisene fant veien inn i nye medier og sjangre, fra 1920-tallets revyscener, via radio og vinyl, til 2020-tallets internettvideoer. Det er en historie om innsamling, arkivarbeid, remediering og revitalisering. Alf Pr\u00f8ysen og Bob Dylan brukte skillingsviser som katalysator for sin skapende kraft. Rita Engebretsen og Helge Borglund gjorde Frem fra glemselen til Norges mestselgende plateserie. Ole Paus og Else Michelet omskapte nyhetsviser til politisk satire. Elias Akselsen revitaliserte tatervisene, mens Grove Horn har gjort rallarviser til rallarpop. I pandemiens tid er sjangeren igjen aktuell. Det g\u00e5r en linje fra de gamle epidemi-visene til dagens koronasanger.<\/p>\n<p><em>Arven fra skillingsvisene<\/em> er en frittst\u00e5ende oppf\u00f8lger til <em>Skillingsvisene i Norge 1550-1950.
