V\u00e5re d\u00f8dsforestillinger sier noe om hvem vi er, hvordan vi oppfatter oss selv, og hva som er viktig for oss.<\/p>\n<p>Tanatologi er vitenskapen og l\u00e6ren om d\u00f8den. Den utgj\u00f8r et voksende tverrfaglig felt internasjonalt. Alt som lever, m\u00e5 d\u00f8 bidrar til \u00e5 sette tanatologien p\u00e5 kartet i Norge. Boka springer ut fra et nytt nordisk nettverk av forskere som arbeider med d\u00f8den fra ulike perspektiver og ulike fag: id\u00e9historie, filosofi, helsefag, kulturstudier, litteraturvitenskap, psykososiale studier, sosiologi og teologi.<\/p>\n<p>Er d\u00f8den v\u00e5rt siste tabu, eller snakker vi tvert imot mer om den enn f\u00f8r? I v\u00e5r tid er d\u00f8den blitt et medisinsk anliggende som f\u00f8rst og fremst h\u00e5ndteres av helsepersonell.
