The well known photographer Dag Alveng is a motor fanatic. In this project he has allowed his two passions – motor and photo – to melt together into a photo project unique to most of what is displayed in Norway. The project combines elements of style gathered from his passion as a car racer of Italian standard cars. Those who drive these races are especially interested in older Italian cars, meaning the cars must be minimum 15 years of age. At the end of the book is an essay written by \u00c5smund Torkildsen, curator at Drammens Museum, who analyses Alveng’s project as style site, the journey from the racing track to a photographic project, to an installation at the exhibition which opens in Drammen the 23 of February 2012.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
