Nasjonale turistveger er et landsomfattende prosjekt som skal utvikle 18 veistrekninger gjennom de vakreste og mest dramatiske landskapsrommene i Norge. Dyktige og dristige arkitekter er invitert til \u00e5 utforme rasteplasser og utkikkspunkter, attraksjoner som allerede har f\u00e5tt stor internasjonal oppmerksomhet. Alle strekninger skal st\u00e5 ferdig ca. 2023. <\/p>\n

Til hvert av prosjektene skal det realiseres et kunstverk og en tilh\u00f8rende bok. H\u00f8sten 2012 ble verket DEN (Hiet) av den amerikanske kunstneren Mark Dion \u00e5pnet p\u00e5 Aurlandsfjellet. Senere samme h\u00f8st ble tvillingprosjektet Rock On Top Of Another Rock, av de sveitsiske kunstnerne Finschli & Weiss, \u00e5pnet p\u00e5 henholdsvis Valdresflya og Kensington Gardens i London. <\/p>\n

V\u00e5ren 2015 \u00e5pner strekningen p\u00e5 Atlanterhavsvegen, der den norske kunstneren Jan Freuchen har laget verket Columna Transatlantica. Prosjektet er blant annet inspirert av antikkens former og materialer, og best\u00e5r av utsk\u00e5rede elementer i italiensk marmor, plassert ut i naturlandskapet p\u00e5 Vevang. Forfatteren og dikteren \u00d8yvind Rimbereid er en av bidragsyterne i boken om prosjektet, som ogs\u00e5 lanseres internasjonalt.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
