\u00d8rnulf Opdahl st\u00e5r i en s\u00e6rstilling som fornyer av det norske landskapsmaleriet, i tradisjonen etter J. C. Dahl og Peder Balke. I denne boken presenteres Opdahls kunstnerskap i sin fulle bredde, maleri, grafikk og akvarell, med s\u00e6rlig vekt p\u00e5 hans systematiske fordypning i kyst- og fjordlandskapet omkring \u00c5lesund og Sunnm\u00f8re. Mange av Opdahls seneste arbeider fra 2013 og 2014 vises for f\u00f8rste gang i denne boken. <\/p>\n

I boken m\u00f8ter vi en mangfoldig kunstner med mange interesser og en bred vifte av sjangre p\u00e5 repertoaret. Vi f\u00f8lger blant annet Opdahl p\u00e5 tokt i Atlanterhavet med forskningsskipet Georg O. Sars, en unik vitenskapelig kartleggingsferd der kunstneren produserte om lag 250 akvareller. B\u00e5de her og gjennom hele bokens fremstilling m\u00f8ter vi kunstnerens egen stemme, noe som sammen med Koefoed utpr\u00f8vende tekster gj\u00f8r boken til et kunstnerisk formidlingsprosjekt litt utenom det vanlige.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
