Samme dag gikk tyske patruljer gjennom Oslos bokhandler og inndro Rauschnings bok, samt to andre svartelistede titler. Det var begynnelsen p\u00e5 den nazistiske litteraturpolitikken i Norge under andre verdenskrig.  <\/p>\n<p>I \u00e5rene som fulgte sto tyskerne og det norske NS-regimet bak sensur, fengsling av forfattere, nazifisering av forlag &#8211; og storstilte utgivelseskampanjer av ideologisk \u00abgodkjente\u00bb b\u00f8ker. Mange norske forfattere gjorde motstand. Andre sluttet seg til nasjonalsosialismen, eller bisto kulturpolitikken deres. Hvordan skulle man h\u00e5ndtere denne virkeligheten etter krigen? I mai 1945 ba Hjemmefronten Forfatterforeningen og de andre kulturorganisasjonene om \u00e5 gjennomf\u00f8re et oppgj\u00f8r blant medlemmene. I desember 1945 forel\u00e5 dommen fra Den norske Forfatterforenings \u00c6resrett: 18 medlemmer ble varig ekskludert fra foreningen p\u00e5 grunn av NS-medlemskap &#8211; mens 17 medlemmer fikk eksklusjoner, karantener, b\u00f8ter eller reprimander av andre \u00e5rsaker. Blant disse siste var viktige navn i norsk litteraturhistorie som Andr\u00e9 Bjerke, Alf Larsen og Herman Wildenvey.  <\/p>\n<p>I denne boka har Tore Rem, Espen S\u00f8bye og Kjartan Fl\u00f8gstad unders\u00f8kt bakgrunnen for \u00c6resrettens dom: Hvilken rolle spilte litteraturen i Norge under krigen? Hvordan preget den nazistiske kulturpolitikken det litter\u00e6re feltet? Fantes det en n\u00f8ytral litteratur? Og hvordan framst\u00e5r prosessen i \u00c6resretten i lys av etterkrigsoppgj\u00f8ret ellers?
