Dag Solhjell (f. 1941) var i \u00e5rene 1973\u20131983 leder av Troms\u00f8 kunstforening. I 1983 ble han ansatt som f\u00f8rste daglige leder av Norske Kunstforeningers Landsforbund i Oslo, en rolle han fylte frem til 1990. I tiden etter har han fungert som l\u00e6rer, forsker, kunstkritiker og faglitter\u00e6r forfatter av en rekke b\u00f8ker og artikler.
