Tsitsi Dangarembga (f. 1959) er f\u00f8dt og oppvokst i Zimbabwe og er en av de mest sentrale forfatterskikkelsene i dagens afrikanske litteratur. Dangarembga studerte medisin og psykologi f\u00f8r hun som den f\u00f8rste kvinnen i Zimbabwe utga en roman p\u00e5 engelsk i 1988, og ble forfatter p\u00e5 fulltid. Hun ble i 2021 tildelt PEN International Award for Freedom of Expression, PEN Pinter Prize og tysk bokhandelforenings fredspris. Dangarembga jobber ogs\u00e5 som manusforfatter og filmregiss\u00f8r, og er grunnleggeren av International Film Festival for Women (IIFF) og har sittet i en rekke filmfestivaljuryer inkludert Durban International Film Festival og Berlin International Film Festival. Hun bes\u00f8kte Norge f\u00f8rste gang sommeren 2022, i forbindelse med Future Library-prosjektet.
