J\u00f3n Kalman Stef\u00e1nsson (f. 1963) er en av Islands st\u00f8rste n\u00e5levende forfattere, og en favoritt blant kritikere og lesere b\u00e5de i Norden og internasjonalt.<\/p>\n

Med romanen Sommerlys<\/em>, og s\u00e5 kommer natten n\u00e5dde den tidligere poeten for alvor ut til brede lesergrupper, og Stef\u00e1nssons store internasjonale gjennombrudd kom s\u00e5 med den enest\u00e5ende trilogien om Gutten. B\u00f8kene hans er i dag oversatt til 27 spr\u00e5k. Stef\u00e1nsson har blitt nominert til Nordisk r\u00e5ds litteraturpris fire ganger i alt, og i 2017 ble han nominert til den prestisjefylte Man Booker International Prize. Han har vunnet P.O.
